Received test results

Yesterday I received my test results from my HIV test. The test came back negative as did my Syphillis (syphilis) test and I was tested on Feb 4 and this was approximately 1 month since my possible exposure. Do you think that this was enough time to rule out being negative or should I return in two months like the Health Department has suggested? I read on other members questions where you stated that four week should be enough time to detect any antibodies if there are any that are present at the time. The only thing that still concerns me are the spots on my tongue which may have come from my treatment with antibiotics for such a long period of time. Is there any product that I can use to get rid of this which looks like yeast, but I can't rule out exactly what it is. I do know that somehow I have to get rid of it if there is any mouthwash or spray that will kill it, please let me know. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated and when I went to the urologist he said I had proctitis. I have read that proctitis could have caused my ongoing problem with Urethritis and other flu-like feelings.

With modern HIV tests, it is very rare for a test to be negative 4 weeks after exposure then become positive after another couple of months.  I don't recall the details of your other posts, but my recollection is that I was very convinced you don't have HIV.  I'm not sure what's going on in your mouth; if you're not getting clear answers from the doctor(s) you have seen, try another.  I don't understand how proctitis can cause urethritis.

You know, this forum should really have a limit on the number of times people can post questions.  It irritates me to see certain names on the board over and over again, because other people would like to have their concerns heard.  It's selfish, obsessive, and neurotic to ask fifteen variations of the same question when the doctor has already given you an answer.

I have tried for a while now to post a question, but since I don't have enough spare time to sit here and figure out when the forum resets, I have been unable to do so.  So please, Ginushyne and others, you have had your chance already.  Think about the rest of us and direct further questions to your personal physician.

Katherine364 and ChicShane:

You're right.  Some repeats with new message strings are OK--legitimate new problem or new aspect that has value for all readers, not just the originator.  But others are excessive, and several abusers have been blocked from new posts.  Ginyshyne is about to be blocked.
