Welcome to the STD forum.  Unfortunately, there is not enough infomation for me to respond.  How old is your daughter? Is she sexually active?  If so, has she had sex with a new partner recently?  How long has it been going on?  Is this the first time or has something like it happened before?  Has this problem been professionally evaluated?

My guess is that this is a bacterial infection, not herpes or any other STD.  But I'll try to help further if you want to provide the missing information.  On the other hand, it probably doesn't matter what I say:  clearly this is a problem that needs professional medical attention.  I'll be interested to hear what her doctor or clinic says.
