Red area on Penis

I have had a red irritated area on the right side of my penis for approximately 4 weeks now. It does not bleed or seep, but dry scaly skin appears on it. Every time i masturbate, it becomes irritated and raw, and then the dry skin comes on later. I think i got it from masturbating to vigorously before. It hasn't healed yet but it doesn't itch nor burn. I am on the verge of seeing a doctor. Just wondering if anybody has the same condition, or if anyone knows what i have or what i'm talking about, thank you

It doesn't sound like what your bf has is an std, but it does sound as if you don't trust him.

I noticed something similar to this on my boyfriends penis..Does yours look like small red,raw/new skin areas? I cant remember if there was any scabbing on it but i do rememeber small round red areas. I dont know if his skin gets dry or not, but it was right after sex that i noticed it so maybe it was irritated.  He also said it didnt bother him at all and if he puts neosporin on it and it goes away....He said hes been tested for STDS because of it and they were negitive. I dont know, im hesitant about believing it. So my question is, does this sound like what you have?  Thanks!
