Red bumps

I've had bumps around the underside of the head of my penis for most of my adult life, which is about 10 years. Although I never had a doctor examine them, I always assumed it was pearly penile papulies. Recently I noticed a bump unlike the others that was more red just under the head on the left side. In the last few weeks another red bumped formed next to it and again I didn't think much of it, I assumed that it was just irritation.

There is now another red bump but this one is forming on the head of my penis. It has an irregular shape and when erect it gets more red. None of the bumps have had any liquid or even look like blisters. No crusting or anything like that. Just tender red bumps and some general itchyness in the groin area.

I have two questsions:

1) Is it herpes or warts?
2) I am unemployed atm and could use some advise on how to find a cheap/free clinic in nyc. Can you help?


I haven't been sexually active this last month and I did meet a guy I would like to date, I have been very flaky about calling him back b/c of this. Please help, if I do end up having some sort of STD I dont even know what to do =(

I can't tell you what you have, but it might be warts.  Its not sounding at all like herpes.
