Red sores on penis head

To begin, I am an uncercumsized male and I will admit that before, and even a little after the symptoms began I did not always shower daily and clean the penile area, and without knowing what it was, I had a jock rash (which never burned or itched) between my thy and scrotum area for about 3-4 months which I later learned is caused by the candida bacterea. But the problem never spread to the head of the penis, which I'm guessing was becuase I would masturbate about once a day and would always wash and clean the penis after doing so.

I had unprotected sex with a girl about 3 months ago (while dating I would go about a week without masturbating, and sometimes not showering for 2-3 days thusly not cleaning the penis for that long) , about 10 days after having sex I noticed red spots on my penis head (a little larger than a pen point) which did not burn or irritate me on the day I first noticed them.

After about 2 weeks of this problem (and still not showering on a daily basis and not maintaing complete penile hygine) I went to the doctor to get tested for an STI, I was tested postive for herpes simplex 1 (which I most likely recived from my mother who gets cold sores as well), and he said that this is ussualy seen above the abdoman, and I do remember getting sores (not knowing what they were) on my lips before having the sexual contact with the girl, I would get very occasional cold sores, (maybe 1 every 2-3 months) and even then they would be barely noticable and would go away after 3-4 days. Also after doing research about genital herpes and yeast infections, I did not have any blisters, bumps, or a terrible burning while urinating. I did however have a red colored rash type area when I pulled back my forskin. The red spots never lasted for longer than 1-2 days, before going to the doctor I used porixide and rubbing alchahol on my penis to try and get the infection/rash off.

From what the doctor saw he said this was a mild yeast infection and gave me Clotrimazole to use, and after about the 2nd day of using it the spots and redness went away. I have been using this cream twice a day for the last 2 months and the spots and redness seemed to be gone for good, and the jock rash is almost completely gone as well.

After the first month of useing the cream I went to the doctor again and he looked at the affected area and said that it was a mild yeast infection that caused it, (there were no reoccurances of the spots or rashes during the first month of continual use, I would also shower and clrean daily). Other then then burning from the cream it self ther was nothing alse happening.

However after me not useing the cream twice a day and sometimed forgetting to apply it on me penis I get red sores on the tip of my penis which are flat red rash looking areas which sting when they are present, and after applying the cream again, and washing the penis the rash went away in about 1-2 hours and looked like nothing even happened.

I shower and clean the area daily, have had no sexual contact with anyone since, and have not been masturbating since as well.

My biggest questions are,
-is it possible for simplex 1 to do this?
-how long does it take for yeast infection to be completly cured?
-Is this a side affect of the cream?
- and is there anything else that I should do to help get rid of this?

Hi

Sorry it has taken a while for us to respond.  You were a perfect example of the true definition of "un clean"   this is because you didn't shower.

And I hope people can read what can and most lilkely does happen when you are not clean (that is don't shower).  I used to live in poverty and my brother and I had your condition for about 6 months as a children.   Let's take a shower all the time, everyday, with soap.   Alright.

To answer your questions; I will answer them respectivey, in the order that you asked them:

-Yes
- 3 weeks or more
-ask your doctor
- revisit your doctor.
