Red spot on top of penis

Hello everyone, i am a worried 26 year old male.  I received oral sex from an unknown female approx. 3 weeks ago.  I did not notice any signs/pains or complaints of what I thought was herpes after the incident.  She did cut the head of my penis during this act.  About 4 days after the oral sex, I masturbated in the shower (without soap,  etc), and it felt kind of dry.  Basically every day since I had this contact with the girl, I have been examining my genital area out of paranoia, looking for any changes.  About 4 days after I masturbated, I noticed a spot spot on the stop of my penis.  It didnt hurt, had not head to it, and I really couldnt tell if it was a zit, dry skin (from the rubbing/masturbation), or what it was!  I put lotion on this area (assuming it was dry skin), and tryed to forget about it for the next few days.  This red spot is the size of an average zit ontop of my penis right ontop of the foreskin.  The redness seemed to dissapear after a few days, but then I examined myself again and noticed the the red dot was back.  It kind of feels like there is a head on the top of it (by feeling it with my fingers), but I cant tell.  I dont get any pain from it, and am just worried as to what it might be.  I had an STD test one week after the oral sex, and Herpes, Syphyilis, Gonorea, etc. all came back negative.  However, the doctor said that herpes may not show positive in a test for up to 3 months!  I am worried and dont know what to do.  I am trying not to touch it and just let it heal but cant tell if lotion is making it better or not.  Ive also tried cortizone and antibiotic cream.  Please help, what is this.....?

Leave it alone - don't touch it or put anything on it, and let your doctor see it.  Most likely, its not anything big, but you do need to get it checked out.
