Redness on Glans. . .

by please_help_me, Oct 11, 2007 09:27PM
Okay,
Three months after I had sex I got swollen lymph nodes, I got really depressed, sick and I was breaking out in rashes on my chest, left arm and back. My family said nothing was wrong and wasn't really interested in helping me.

That went away but the head of my penis turns red. . .besides getting white and red patches in my mouth and throat my glans gets reddish patches or something all over it whenever I use the bathroom, wash it, touch it or even try to do ANYTHING with it at all. I tried going on a candida diet, I tried antibiotics and everything else I could think of and it goes away for awhile but it always comes back. What the hell is this and why won't it go away? I feel very hurt, confused and my masculinity is crushed but when I try to talk to someone about it they make fun of me and say i'm "crying like a woman."

Besides saying the obvious "go and get tested," does anyone have any idea at all what's wrong with me?

You could simply have a viral infection.  Many viral infections can cause irration of skin, especially swollen lymphonodes.  Rosea is a common considition which shares many of the symptoms you claim, i dont believe this would be something like psoriasis as it seems more of a flu or minor viral, try looking up rosea quite common.  Honestly though just hit up a walk in clinic, get yourself an STD test, allow a doctor to check you out and put it behind you, I tend to be a somewhat paranoid person myself and i find seeing the doctor typically eliviates this the majority of the time.

Peace.
