it sounds like u''d feel better if u sought treatment elsewhere!i've read that the thrush is supposed to clear first!I had the diathermy/cryo on my CIN1.there was no HPV then it came 6 mos later!LEEP is where they run a 18 inch copper wire up u..there is a loop on the end of it and it goes around the bad cells on the cervix(.Def TMI here....but this stuff needs to be gotten outta us!)they run an electric current up there and it dually zaps/pinches the bad cells off.It took 20 mins outpatient.A week later u start to cramp and what they burned comes out!Wore pads for a month...diaper girl at 52!I have another pap 12-17 to see if it came back....God i hope not.30% chance gals need a second surgery.CIN 3 is bad news hon it can progress quick...please seek a second opinion asap.....the bleeding and pain are serious symptoms!

I had a really nasty experience with my last pap a really horrible doctor, i had thrush sorry TMI at the time told him and he did it anyway, I ended up with cut's from the spectulum and i have been frightend to go back for another one but i am plucking up the courage on tuesday to go for one         ( another doctor), LEEP is that diathermy? i have had diathermy and am worried that the symptoms suggest that it could be back and more serious.........invasive or something what scares me the most is the bleeding after sex it has never happened before ever and i'ts every time DH and i get to it lol, it's horrible and my periods have been all over the place.

what do you think ?

ouch CIN 3 is not good!u should be having paps yearly!I had CIN 1 11-06.Removed 12-06.HPV factor negative.Follow up pap 6-07 showed high risk HPV.if u have a healthy imune system and don't smoke the docs here say HPV normally cleared from immune system in 6-12 months, possibly longer. It lies dormant and u can't catch the same strain but can get re-xposed to another of the 38 strains which is probably what happened.Condom use and  monogomouy are said to reduce the chances by 50%  maybe better of catching HPV again.I had LEEP 8-07 and my doc told me that i can catch many strains minus condom use and again chances greatly reduced with.
