Ringworm like pimples on my pubic

Dear Doctors,

Last month in Dec, I shaved my pubic hair and used FDS feminine spray on a daily basis.  Few days later, I noticed that I had yeast infection like symptoms even though I was using the spray strictly on my pubic.  I also saw a lot pimples scattered on my pubic area and thought they were ingrown hair.

Usually, ingrown do not leave me scars this time around it did.  All pimples went away within a week except for one that wouldn't go away.  It looks kind like ringworm like pimple.  3 pimples growing together sort of. It doesn't itch, doesn't hurt but it is there and I DISLIKE IT.

I tried to ignore it until last week I messed with it and a tiny amount of white puss followed by  little blood came out and few minutes later, it looked as if i did not brake it.  I tried it again today and the same thing happened.  I cleaned the area with peroxide and put cortozone (advised by the pharmacist) but it did not help at all so i stopped using the cortozone.

Both my partner and I are religious about using condoms and were tested for STDs and all were negative. Could it be some STD i don't know about?

I have an appoitment with the OBGYN next week and I am afraid it is serious. What could it be? I am freaked out. I can't sleep.
Somebody help please. Thanks.

this is not the doctor's forum - you have to pay to post there.

we never recommend the use of FDS spray. If your nether regions smell that bad that you feel the need to use it daily, time to be seen and get some testing done for vaginal infections! Otherwise using it, increases your risk of infections so it really shouldn't be used ever.  we all have a natural smell to our genitals and it isn't lavendar or daisy fresh!

Peroxide is non-chlorine bleach. we don't recommend it for skin care. it actually causes harm to health skin and isn't worth using.

same as topical steroids shouldn't be used in the genital area unless specifically told to do so by a medical provider. The otc strengths of them are much too harsh for our sensitive genital skin.

Ok so enough of the negative - just trying to educate!

So what is this? You should be seen today or tomorrow for this. don't pick at it and don't put anything else on it. do not shave again either. This could be a fungal infection, a bacterial skin infection or even perhaps genital herpes so being seen as soon as you can for a proper exam is in your best interest.

stop back and let us know how your appointment went .

also make sure that herpes testing was included with you and your partners last std testing. it's typically not a part of routine std testing.

Thanks a lot for replying. I am more freaked out than yesterday.  Hopefully it is not herpes.  never had a std before. I am praying it is a fungal infection (that i can deal with).  I will keep you posted after my visit next friday.  It looks like it is going away. It has dried up and is less visible today. Anyway, I will still go and will let you know. Many thanks.
