Risk Assessment

Well, I finally made the mistake of having a one night stand due to being drunk. I'll outline it in bullet form of the activities that took place. This is a summation of two nights back to back with the same woman.  I'm a 25 year old white male whom is circumcised.

- Rough kissing
- unprotected oral sex received and given.
- saliva lubrication masturbation.
- 10-15 seconds of unprotected vaginal sex before stopping.

Basically, I want to know my risk of receiving... anything. Should I bother getting tested? I met this woman in a bar, she's 23 and hispanic in the Chicago area. I'm not sure if I should wait to see symptoms first and then get tested or if I should just.. get tested regardless. I'm a fairly broke college student unfortunately, and I have no idea how much testing is or would cost.

Thanks for all the advice.

Try the local health dept for cheap or free testing. I would test for gonorrhea and chlamydia.

You'd test regardless if showing symptoms?

Yeah because often chlamydia is not going to show symptoms, and since you are testing for that mine as well do gonorrhea also.

Overall it is a low risk...oral is low risk and 10-15 seconds of vaginal sex is low risk.

Thanks Vance, I appreciate the reassurance man. I think I'm unfortunately going to have to wait a week or two before I get tested.

Does gonorrhea typically appear asymptomatic like chlamydia?

No gonorrhea in over 90% of men show symptoms. Testing after 5 days is fine.

What is the percentage for Chlamydia of men that show symptoms?

I can't find it anywhere on google for whatever reason.
