Risk from moment of stupidity

Hello,

Saturday night whilst out with friends in Sofia (Bulgaria) I had protected oral sex with a CSW. It was mostly by hand, actually and the condom seemed fine. As I was about to ejaculate she put he mouth over it and I pushed forward, breaking the condom and ejaculating into her mouth. She wass not happy, and neither am I! We both pulled away quickly, I estimate I was unproctected for a very brief period. I guess at 15 seconds at the VERY most. I couldnt tell the condom was broken until she showed me! I have no idea how it happened. Thing is, I am now worried about catching something.

1. What are my realistic risks here?
2. What are the chances I have contracted something?
3. Does the length of the expose actually mean anything?

I am feeling rather guilty and awfully rubbish about this at the moment.

Regards

Joey

Hi

1) your realistic risks here are zero for all STDs (you had mostly protected oral sex)
2) this is asking question 1 in a different way; again your chances that you contracted something is just about zero for all STDs.
3) the length of expose does not mean anything for you --don't worry about this.

Its okay to feel guilty, you should consider talking to a therapist about it or someone as it might become a psychological thing.   Your going to be alright.

I suggest you leave the internet for a few days. And focus on other things. Might help you.

I do have a sore throat, but I think it is more raised glands rather than sore throat as in feeling of swollowing glass as one sometimes gets with a cold or 'flu.

You could have put "Better chancre of being hit by lightening"... always look on the bright side. Thank you!

Nothing green or yellow is coming from anywhere. A little clear in the morning but I think this is normal. I am over thinking it.

Normally green or yellow.

Anything is possible-but not likely. Better chance of being hit by lightening on a clear day then syphilis on your hand.

Milky, clear or green/yellow discharge?

I haven't heard of it on the hand, but I guess if there is an opening and a sore it is possible.

2-5 days for gonorrhea...discharge and maybe burning while you pee...yeah you noticed it.

No. The hand is not going to get syphilis if it ever does it is very very very rare. But you have to cone into firect contact with a syphilis sore.

Hello,

Just to ease my fears...

How quickly does Gonorrhea appear symptomatic? Would I notice? I think it is nerves and tiredness but I am most certainly not feeling 100% at the moment.

Also, on a different point. Syphilis - can you get it by touching the inside of a womans vagina if you have a cut on your cuticle?

Low risk now matter how you want to put it.

The same with Gonorrhea I meant, not the 'game Gonorrhea'! I think I am in the midst of a mental meltdown!

So even if she had a Syphilis Chancre in her mouth the risk is still very low as the duration of the exposure (under 15 second, including my ejaculation). The game Gonerrea? If this is true I feel much better. Darn alcohol!

Cool.

Sit back and relax, then?!

Bigger issue is addressing why I did it in the first place.

Not a STD symptom...too early for one.

I also have a red sore on my foreskin, but as it is not even 36 hours I think this may be a friction burn or something!

Hi,

I think you are right, I am 100% sure the break occurred at the end of the action. I doubt she would have risked herself by carrying on with a broken condom in her mouth and she was not a happy person spitting and complaining.

I have spoken with my local MD, she said the same thing about risk. Very low. I am going to watch out for any changes, though. And try and avoid sex with my partner for a while. This could be tricky.

I do feel terrible, maybe this is the true reason for almost rationalising that I have Syphillis, Gonorrea or anything else.

Thank you for your help,

Joey
