Risk of STD from kissing a stripper while having cold sore

I recently went to a strip club and after a few drinks received several lap dances from a dancer.  At one point during the dances she felt compelled to kiss me and I obliged.  We kissed several times and she jabbed her tongue in my mouth a couple of times.  Anyhow, I wouldnt normally be concerned about contracting an STD from kissing but I was suffering from a cold sore when this happened.  Will you please shed some light on what STD risk if any I may be facing??  I am feeling very anxious about this right now as I have a girlfriend who I will be seeing when I return from my business trip.

Thank you ver much.

No concerns. STD's are only passed through sex.

Thanks for the quick reply Vance.  I am the person with the cold sore by the way.  I guess I am worried since I have a small sore inside my mouth.  There wasn't any real deep kissing per say.  It was mostly lip kissing.  Anyhow, I shouldnt be concerned right?

Thanks again

The only thing besides a cold you can get from kissing is oral herpes which is very very common. And a cold sore is often a sign of oral herpes. But more people get oral herpes when they are kids from a parent or relative.

But in terms of HIV, gonorrhea and others you had no risk what so ever.
