Risk?

Hello, I am a middle-aged male who recently exercised poor judgment and received anal sex and gave and received anal sex with a male sex worker.  Condoms were used for the oral and initial anal, but i am not sure if he took off the condom at the end of anal.  He did not say he did, but i don't know for sure. That was three weeks ago.  I am married and am worried about the risks of passing something to my wife.  What should I be tested for and when would it be safe to have sex with my wife? My wife and I use condoms as contraceptive practice.  Since then I have developed a mild rash on my wrist and forearm but I do not know if it is related.

protected oral sex is almost no risk at all.

protected anal is overall very low risk. syphilis, herpes and hpv are the main risks from protected sex and the risk of all from a one time protected encounter are very low.  if you need the peace of mind of testing, you can get tested for syphilis any time after 6 weeks post encounter and herpes after 3 months. we don't have commercially available tests for hpv in males to cover that base.
