STD?

I am 28 and probably for the last 10+ years every couple of months or so I have a little red bump, or up to 5 ish appear on my penis. These vary in size, different places, never on the head, no pain, no itching, no buring, slightly raised, never open up, never blister or have fluid, and dont scab. They just slowely appear over a few days, hang out, then go away. I have absolutly no other STD symptoms.
I have been having unprotected sex with my wife for over 6 years and nothing ever shows up on her tests, or any bumps for her. She doesnt worry about it, but I am curious. The only thing I can find that reoccures like this is herpes, but I have no other sypmtoms and these look nothing near extreme as the pictures I found on the internet.
I know I have to go to the dr. to know for sure, but it is not always that easy (in iraq). So I am looking for any helpful feedback, opinions, or ideas. Thanks for reading.

As you said, it doesn't sound typical of herpes or any other std. Bumps are symptoms of many things. Many of which are not std related. You've been living with it for more than 10 years, so the next time you are able to get to a doctor, discuss it with them then.
