STD Clinic and Trich

After a very low risk unprotected vaginal exposure, I went to a state STD clinic where they did a urethral swab for gonn, chlamydia and NGU.  The also did a gram stain.  At the time they reported no white blood cells, no sign of infection, no mention of trich.  My cultures came back negative.  I am very nervous about the whole thing, and about a week ago I started to have some itching/burning in the urethra after masturbating.  It only happens when I ejactulate (and for a few minutes/hours afterward) and no other symptoms.  Is trich possible?  I am not sure they could find it at the clinic or not.  Any comments or thoughts?  The good doctors told me to accept me negative test results and move on, which I am trying to do.  Guilt, as it has with many others on here, overcomes me.  Thanks.

Trich would not be tested for and a lot of times symptoms don't happen. Also it is a STD that can be aquired other ways (enviromental objects) and well just is not a real common one.

I am betting that "symptoms" are guilt enduced. Because a bowel movement has nothing to do with your penis and ejaculation has nothing to do with a STD.

7 days after exposure, which according to the doctors is plenty of time.  No discharge or anything.  Just the burn after ejactulation (once in a while) and the slight itch at the tip of my penis (worse after bowel movements).

Guilt is heavy on the soul...trust me. It will make you think you have symptoms when you don't. The symptoms you have said alone might make someone think it is STD related but when your symptoms are happeneing is not a sign of a STD.

How long after the exposue did you test?

Any comment on this.  I noticed that the itching/burning seems worse after a bowel movement, which is making me think it might be  prostate related.  My exposure was with another married person who swears that she hasn't been with anyone but her husband in the past 10 years.  I guess he could be fooling around, but I also guess I might have a very active imagination and very guilty consience.
