STD Exposure

Doctors,
I've engaged in two encounters with CSWs over the last couple of months. Both encounters consisted of condom protected fellatio and condom protected vaginal sex (nothing more). Neither instance appeared to have a condom fail. I am married and would like to know what I am at risk for (HIV, gonorrhea, syphilis.....) and, in my situation, what you would do. The second of two encounters occurred two days ago so I know I need to wait to test. Should I abstain with my wife until I've tested or is that unnecessary?

Welcome to our Forum  Condom protected sex is safe sex.  Thus, your risk for having acquired any STD from the exposures you describe is zero and testing is not needed, ecept perhaps for your own peace of mind.  If you wish to be tested for the most common STDs just to be sure (as I said, it is not needed but many of our clients wish to be tested just the same), testing at any time 3 or more days following exposure will provide accurate results.

I hope my comment is helpful to you. EWH
