STD From Receiving Oral Sex

Hey,

I am a male, 23 and I've had sex 3 times, all protected. About a week ago I got really drunk and received oral sex (blowjob) from a girl unprotected. The encounter only lasted about 25-30 seconds before she stopped. I also asked her when I sobered up if she had ever been diagnosed with a STD in the past, she said no, never. I have never recieved oral sex without a condom before, this was a first. Recently, my throat has been hurting and I did go in for a checkup and the Doc said it was just a virus, nothing to worry about. I did fail to tell him I received oral sex without a condom. I am really worried I have caught something. I did make out with her a bit before receiving oral, but that was about it. I have no pain in urine, and I jerk off on a regular basis, without problems. I've been googling about this issue and cannot find a definite answer. Somone please give me some advice!

the risk of a std from receiving oral sex is rather low overall. unless you develop symptoms, we don't recommend any testing.

it is sore throat season. you were seen and your provider didn't suspect anything more than a typical seasonal virus going on. kissing is a  terrific way to share those.

From what I've been told on here receiving oral is no risk for HIV.
