STD Help...Need an answer.

If I've had std testing (culture exam)  each year since I was sexually active, and if i would have had an std, would it have been detected??...Or can an std come up and disappear in less than a year??

If this was just a yearly OBGYN exam then swab test most likely just looked for HPV, maybe chlamydia too. Best advice is to talk to your Dr's office to see if/what you were tested for.

Im pretty sure I had the swab/urine test done each time but not blood, would those have picked up most STD's, bc I might be at risk for PID and thats why I was wondering...

Culture exam does not look for all STD's.
STD's don't just come and go.

Testing for STD's is urine/swab and blood.
