STD? Herpes??

Ive been having this itch on the right underside of my penis. To my knowledge, I didn't really notice anything until I took a shower one day and felt this stinging feeling. I looked and it was raised but not red at all. Didnt really hurt when I touched it but when I applied Hydrogen Peroxide, thats when it stung. A few days later, it was all gone and looked normal to me. But just to be on the safe side, I went to my family doctor. He looked at it and said it was nothing but really there wasn't much to see cause it looked like it healed. Couple of days later, I masterbated and felt like I broke some skin. Didn't think much of it until I woke up the next morning. It was inflammed and itchy!! Not red at all just itchy!! Put some Hydrogen Peroxide on it and it bubbled. Ive been tested for STD's a year ago and all came back negative.I get cold sores once in a while but my last outbreak was 2-3 years ago. My current GF took all the tests including a PAP and she too tested negative. What could this be??? Im getting really worried!! Please help!!!

Well I went back to my family doctor to show him again the mark. This time you can see what looks like the skin broke a few times. Once again he said it wasn't anything and gave me a cream to put on it. Well sorry to say, I wasn't really satisfied with his answer so I made an appointed with a local STI Clinic. The doctor there looked at it and said it wasn't anything related to an STD. He suggested to refrain from sex and masturbation for at least a couple of weeks so it can heal. Just a question, can herpes appear and disappear in a matter of days?? For some reason, I still feel uneasy with both doctors prognosis and don't want to spread something ( IF IT IS SOMETHING ) to my current GF. Like i said, I do get cold sores but haven't for quite some time. Is it possible to infect yourself in a different area with same strain ( HSV-1 )?

This certainly does not sound like any STD (especially given your history). Instead, it may just be skin irritation from masturbation, a pimple, an ingrown hair, etc. I wouldn't worry much about this. However, you can have your dr. look at it if it appears again (before you put peroxide on it). Also, the skin of the penis is very sensitive, and peroxide often causes skin irritation.
