STD Scare - Help!

Hey all,

First off I want to say that this is a great community and I'm glad it's here for people in need, such as myself.

So last night I was stupid and had unprotected oral sex with an escort, along with protected vaginal sex. During the unprotected oral sex (which lasted maybe 3 minutes), I ejaculated into her mouth. Now I am absolutely TERRIFIED that I have contracted an STD. I'm already an anxious person and this dumb decision has brought my anxiety through the roof. She seemed fairly clean in appearance, and did not have any sores on her mouth that I noticed, but I know that doesn't necessarily mean anything. This is my first (and last) encounter of this sort and I just wanted to hear some thoughts/opinions from this community regarding the likelihood of me contracting an STD from this type of action. I have already read a lot on the subject, and have seen a lot of differing opinions, but wanted to provide my own specific situation.

There have been no symptoms as of yet, but again it hasn't even been 24 hours. Any insight anyone can share will be so greatly appreciated. By the way, I also have a girlfriend of two years, so I feel so terrible and ashamed at what I have done, and am not sure how to handle that situation, so any thoughts on that would be greatly appreciated as well.

I apologize for the long message but I hope to hear from some of you soon!

Hi, yes its all low risk but for your girlfriends protection you will need testing for her protection at the correct window period.
1. gono from the oral----7 days post exposure
2. herpes -------3 months
3. syphilis-----6 weeks

Hi,
I am not an expert. I had an episode happened to me earlier and is now waiting for results.
I know how you feel and I just want to share what I think with you. However you should wait for the others for better advises.
Based on what you have said and what I read from the doctors on this forum (too bad they are not here anymore), what you had was a low risk event.
Without sores on her mouth you are probably safe from HSV1 (you probably have it already). Wait for a week or so if you have no symptom for herpes on your penis, you can forget herpes.
There is a small chance of gonorrhea and even smaller chance for chlamydia (dr said it is not an ideal location for it to survive). Do not try to take antibiotics to cover potential infections, there is a high chance that you did not get anything.
This is more a psychological thing ... if you worry you may put your girl friend in danger, try to get a urine test for gonorrhea and chlamydia 3 days after your exposure. Take the NAAT because they are super sensitive (it detects the NDA of the bacteria) and you can be sure you are home free.
It sucks to wait I know but this should help to get it off your mind.
What I can be sure of is that, you could not get anything deadly from that event and you can have everything dealt with in a week's time and your girl friend will not know anything about it.

Good luck and take care.
