STD Tests Negative, But still having pain

by Telesys, Sep 05, 2007 03:08AM
Doc,

Earlier this year I had a one time encouter with a young lady and I used a protection "AKA a condom."  About two to three days later I started having alot of pain in my testicals and noticed some swelling.  I have tested for HSV 1&2, HIV, Chalmydia, Gonorrhea, Hepatitis, and Syphilis several times the last being at about 34 weeks with all result being negative.  I have been seeing a urologist now for some time and at first they put me on anti-inflammatorys.  After awhile I start to have some itching and small rashes in my grion along with a single red bump in the pelvic area.  At first the Doc thought it was a hair follicle infection since I had been shaving that area and was just starting to let it grow back, so he put me on Fougera Nystatin and Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream, that didnt do much, so then he thought it could be staph infection so he put me on Tetracycline, then sulfameth/Trimethoprim pills, then he recommend lotrimin cream, and now Hydrocortisone cream returning to it is just a hair follicle infection.  But now I have started to notice a light discolortation and some pain and itching in the head of my penis.  I am at the point where Im not sure if I should have much faith in my doctor, the pain and rashes on my inner legs have gone down since I stopped using all of these creams and the red bump is now a barley noticable red spot on the skin which I think is just the skin healing after having the bump for almost six months.  But sometimes I still have testical pain along with itching and discomfort in the tip of my penis. I have researched all over the web with nothing looking l definite. Any ideas of what this could be, or should I see another doctor or a Dermatologist.  In the back of my mind I keep thinking STD but after 34 weeks the tests are pretty definite, Right?

Thanks
