STD concerns

In the past two weeks, I have been experiencing itching and increased vaginal discharge, There has been slight pain with urination at times. My doctor prescribed me a Z-pack for respiratory infection & I took my first dose (2-250 mg) about 24 hrs ago, with 4-250 mg tablets remaining. If I have Chlamydia (& may based on research I have done) will the antibiotic treatment I am currently taking cure an STD as well? Also, how long to expect symptoms to subside after starting ABT therapy? Do any of the home remedies recommended to treat/prevent chlamydia work?

actually odds are your discharge is non-std related. you need to be seen and get proper exam and basic testing done for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally at this point.

if you've been having unprotected sex, follow up with the proper std testing at the proper times as listed in our read before posting post on the forum.

Hi and welcome, If you think you have chlamydia please see a doctor as this would need proper testing and treatment. Ive read that women can have some ill effects if left untreated and usually a follow up test is advised.
