Well any unprotected encounter could lead to STD transmission if the other person has it. It does sound more like an infection then anything else.
I would advise him testing for STD's as well as you.
Gonorrhea/Chlymida-1 week
Syphilis-6 weeks
HIV-3 months
Herpes-4 months
Those are the testing times for 100% conclusive tests.
But also remember that most people don't have STD.
Thank you so much for the information. I assume since the contact he had was 4 weeks ago we can say it is not Gonorrhea/Chlymida. Regardless I will be tested for everything and tell him he should do that too.
Will the urinalysis culture and sensitivity show any STD? He had a urinalysis with C&S done 6 days prior to the bloody urine and it was all negative, that does not make sense to me that an infection could become that severe in 6 days.
