STD of crazy coincidences?

I have a Prince Albert piercing (goes through the bottom of the shaft of my penis and up and out through the urethra).  I was having unprotected sex with my girlfriend and did the old "pull the panties to the side" thing.  During sex, her g-string kept shifting back and my piercing would sort of catch or rub it, causing discomfort for me.  After maybe 10 minutes of this, I had her take them off and everything was fine.  However, later that night I noticed that the tip of my penis and inside my urethra was very irritated (only the parts that contact the piercing, mind you) and that it hurt to pee the next day.  I chocked this up to think it was just painful to pee over the recently rubbed-raw inside of my urethra.  I've had my piercing out to let it heal without further friction.

I later noticed a slight pain (like a mild bruise) in my pubic area above my shaft (where most of my pubic hair is), but no visual indications.  I brushed it off since I figured I just forgot about a time when I may have bumped into something and the bruise hadn't become visible yet.  I noticed this while masturbating (dry) and the next day, I had what I thought were friction burns or scabs.  I've gotten them before so I didn't think anything of it (ALWAYS after a bout of vigorous masturbation where I could tell it was getting raw, never unexpectedly).  However, while in the shower I picked some of the scabs off (since no one likes scabs on their dick) and they seemed a lot more painful than usual, but still resemble surface sores from friction; no puss or anything like that.  Maybe it's just because they're a bit more exposed (one is slightly farther down the shaft this time instead of right under the head) and get irritated by my boxers more (the couple near the head of my penis I barely notice during the day, if at all).

Furthermore, being paranoid since my girlfriend was teasing me about having STDs since it hurt to pee (though we both knew the cause was just irritation from my piercing), I started wondering and I've noticed that my lymph nodes in my groin are swollen and the bruise-feeling pain I noticed a couple days earlier is decidedly swollen (the one side is noticeably "fatter" than the other side).  These symptoms of my glands being swollen and tender I cannot explain.  The painful urination and scabs seemed obvious to me (again, I've gotten friction sores and I know they weren't outbreaks of some kind), but coupled with this and now it sounds like an STD of some kind (though my scabs/sores don't seem to resemble any pictures I've seen online and I've not exhibited any discharge from my penis or flu-like symptoms).  The swollen glands are the only symptoms I can't attribute to something else and I don't have any other symptoms (like sores in my mouth, discharge, painful urination in any other part of my urethra, etc) that would suggest ONLY an STD being responsible.

My girlfriend got tested last November (tested negative for anything) and has only been with two people (her boyfriend at the time and one other person after him) since me.  I haven't been tested in a couple years, but I've only been with one person before my girlfriend, and that was in early January.  It's been over half a year since my last sexual contact before that one (last August).  The odds of an STD springing up now seems highly unlikely (though possible).  It seems even more odd than I can attribute most of my symptoms to pretty ordinary things except for the swollen glands.

Does this sound like I just stumbled across a couple of things that may be masking STD symptoms (maybe my piercing wasn't the culprit and they aren't friction sores), or is it more likely that all these things happened to go wrong within days of each other so that it only seems like an STD?  Could a hernia cause swollen lymph nodes and a tender bulge?  Keep in mind that I can't feel a "bulge" of some kind, only that the one part seems fatter.  It doesn't feel of any different consistency then the other part of my groin, just bigger and tender.  My lymph nodes feel swollen and tender on both sides (specifically my right side by the swollen area above my penis).  I do lift weights and have been going heavier than usual this last week.  I know that could make me possibly more prone to hernias (and again makes for an odd coincidence this week).

Either way it seems like an odd coincidence.  Either I have a bunch of symptoms which sound (at least on the surface) like STD symptoms, or I'm finally getting symptoms of an STD that I most likely got months ago or longer (however unlikely) and they managed to crop up at the exact time when I did things that would've resulted in similar symptoms.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Don't think this is a STD, but since it has been a while since you tested I would advise on testing.

I realize I made a few typos in this.  I said my girlfriend has "only been with two people (her boyfriend at the time and one other person after him) since me."  What I meant was since THEN, as in since being tested.  The other was I said "I've only been with one person before my girlfriend, and that was in early January."  I meant to say only one in the last few months (I think I lost that part in a revision of this post).
