STD questions

Hello everyone,
I am hoping to get answers to a few questions. I discovered my now-ex was cheating on me and want to get checked for STDs as a precaution.  My questions:

1. Would drinking too much water before a urine test result in false negatives?
2. I was on 100mg per day of doxycycline for almost a year (anti-malaria during a deployment). Would this have cleared up any STDs?
3. How long do I need to wait after stopping the doxy to get tested to prevent any complications?

1. No, but make sure you do not urinate at least 1hr before test...longer the better.
2. It would have taken care of gonorrhea
3. 3-4 weeks and that would be for gonorrhea and possibly chlamydia
