STD risks of mutual masturbation

I am a married man. I am straight (mostly i guess) I was traveling and horny and stopped by one of those adult stores with peep shows advertised.  I'd never done this before.  You put a dollar in the machine and can watch a few minutes of porn.  I started masturbating and was very horny.  I noticed that there was hole and some guy started looking at me through the hole.  I didn't mind and being watched kind of turned me on, then he put his penis through the hole.  I ignored it at first and then eventually became curious.  He just left it there.  I began to stroke his penis and then realized i was just curious and i wasn't into it.  I went back to watching porn and masturbated myself to orgasm.

Now I didn't think about it at all.  But when I got back to hotel i started to wonder if it is possible to get an std by giving a man a handjob and then masturbating myself seconds later.  I looked up info through google, and I know maybe non-experts isn't the best, but some sites seemed to suggest that it is possible to contract hpv, herpes, and maybe even syphilis via mutual masturbation.

He did not have any visible sores on his penis and I don't have any open wounds on my hand on my genitals.

Are there any risks, or are these potential risks listed on the websites not accurate?

I'm quite worried that my marriage could be over.  My wife will leave me for sure if i end up with herpes of syphilis.

You really had no risk what so ever...masterbation is safe sex. The reason being is when you get something like herpes or syphilis it is in areas of thin skin where the infection can enter the system easier. The hands have very tough skin and resists infections like those. Even with cuts and things of that nature it is not a risk.

The Dr's on this site say it is zero risk...they do not even say small risk. So when they say zero risk it is zero.

Places like you went to often gets guys to see what things are like and get nervous after the encounter most of the time it is out of guilt and nothing more. But you can relax you did not get anything and you will not pass anything onto your wife.

p.s. I realize it was a mistake caused by curiosity. I will not make that mistake again.

Even if the risk is low.  Do you recommend getting checked out just in case? if so how long should i wait to guarantee accurate results?  I read somewhere that you have to wait 30-60 days after sexual contact for syphilis tests to be accurate.
