STD??

Dear Doctor,
Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.  I am a 42 year old married man.  My wife hasn't had sex with me in 2 years due to health issues.   I recently went on a trip to San Francisco where I went to a massage parlor.  During the massage, I was very relaxed when the girl massaging me started to literally put her tongue on my anus.  I was surprised by this and asked her to stop.  I proceeded to leave the place.  It is two and a half days later and I have a burning and at times itching sensation around my anus.  It is uncomfortable, but I don't see anything there.  HPV comes to mind and I am concerned.  What are the chances? and what else could it be?  Anything I can watchout for ?  I have physically felt fine and healthy during all of this.  Thanks again for your time.  I feel like a *******!  My marriage is over if I have this, but I must live with the consequences of my actions.

Hi, no std is on the tip of the tongue. They are either way in the back of the throat, inside the vagina or in the case of herpes and syphilis open sores in the genital area or lip area. Our genital skin does not have rashes and such as there is a Ph with the skins surface that keeps fungus under control. Often with genital or  oral contact the Ph changes and causes fungal infections as throws the Ph off. Maybe your having a fungal issue. If your concerned see a doc about this but as far as std,s really not something to be concerned about at all.
