Same sort of circumstances

by MNMan, Oct 08, 2009 11:36AM
Hello,

I recently was in the same situation as the previous person. I was at a natural hot spring about a week and a half ago. I have been with my girlfriend for a year and although neither of us have ever been tested and I have only been with 1 other person (and that was for four years) and never had any type of occurrences in the pubic region. My girlfriends have never exhibited any symptoms of anything. Occasionally we do have unprotected sex. About two days after the hot springs i began itching around my waist and my thighs (inner, front and backside) there are a few irritated red bumps (look like ingrown hairs) and i had maybe four on my forearms. It does seem localized about where the swim trunks were. The itching is worst at night on my legs (even where there are no bumps). I do not have anything on the penis or scrotum. The slight itching there may be from grooming. Also my  i have noticed dryer skin on my arms and legs. I have been looking and looking for an answer but the internet makes me more paranoid. I came across Folliculitis and sounds like I hit a jackpot. I was just wondering what you think.

This discussion is related to Folliculitis or Herpes?.

Actually now that i think about it, it we were together for a week and the itching began probably 3-4 days later, after the hot spring. But no images I have seen of any other rash/std/virus look similar. most are very extreme looking. My case doesn't look bad but just itches like crazy!

Would have to see a Dr it does not sound STD related.
