Saw and bruised penis head

Hi there. I recently had thrush. I took fluconazole and used canestan cream. It has cleared up and i was and dry it with a towel 3 to 4 times a day. All of a sudden there is what looks like bruising appearing on the penis head that is purple/brown colour. It sometimes stings. I wonder whether I have bruised the penis head through over cleaning or whether i still have thrush?
