Scared about Symptoms?

End of October 2004, I had an encounter with a pro so to speak in Vegas of all places.  I received unprotected oral but protected vagina and anal sex.  Early November, I started playing soccer again wearing compression shorts.  Shortly after I started experiencing itchiness in the inner thigh and my scrotum was irritated with redness.  This went on for over 4 weeks then I saw a doctor who diagnosed it as jock itch.  I used OTC jock itch lotion for 2 weeks and then revisited the doctor as it only improved a little.  He again noticed a slight discoloration of a darkish red on both inner thighs almost at the same place since I pressed for him to review harder. He then prescribed a stronger lotion for anti-fungal cream. I have been  using it so far 3 weeks which the discoloration is still there and the discomfort is slight but still there. When reading about the side effects of the prescribed lotion it actually causes the symptoms of blocked hair follicles and irritated skin.  So I thought maybe it is a bacterial infection. About 4-5 weeks ago I noticed 3 small skin colored bumps at the front of the top of the penis.  They are right at the circumcision scar and the sensitive part of the nerves by the tip under the skin.  I am not sure what this part is called.  They are not liquid filled but are a little tender to the touch and when you spread exaiming trying to check them a little white point can be seen.They have not changed in appearance but two more on the other side have appeared with the characteristics.  Could this be an STD, herpes or ?

The rash certainly was either tinea cruris (jock itch), as diagnosed by your doctor; or conceivably a bacterial infection.  In particular, there is a condition call erythrasma which looks like jock itch but is due to a bacteria, not fungus.  It requires an antibiotic by mouth and doesn't repond to antifungal creams used for jock itch.  Neither erythrasma nor jock itch are sexually acquired; the rash is unrelated to the sexual encounter you describe.

I don't know what to say about the bumps you describe.  Perhaps pearly penile papules, a normal anatomic variant.  (Normal anatomy may seemingly become more prominent when one's attention is enhanced by other symptoms or problems.)  Conceivably genital warts, which is the only condition I can think of that might relate to your sexual encounter 3 months ago.

I recommend asking your doctor for a referral to a dermatologist to address both the rash and the bumps.  None of this is herpes.

After searching the web it is by the Frenular Delta/vein area actually under the folded frenular vein.

When I spread my bumps which are 1-2mm they spread and reveal a pin point of something rough.  Only the point remains when I spread the bump everything else goes smooth.  How long would the warts last without treatment? Would they spread to other areas a month after starting? They do vary in size as my constant review of them probably is irritating them.  Is there a gland right their by the frenular delta or vein that could be infected by the bacteria?  Also could strep have anything to do with it as I had strep around the time these appeared.

Sorry Doc for the many reposts but my visit is not for another week and want to research as much as possible.  Could this be MOLLUSCUM CONTAGIOSUM?  There is a center which looks like white and surrounded by the fleshy bump which smooths when stretched.

I doubt molluscom.  The lesions aren't usually "fleshy" (which to me implies soft) and, like warts, would maintain their shape and firmness when you stretch or spread the skin.  Also, molluscum usually appears in the pubic area or scrotum, not often on the penis.

So what would explain the stretching with the skin?  You mentioned in a different post a wart would not stretch out when the skin is pulled and would maintain shape.  These do not maintain shape and vary day to day in size from all the prodding.  Thank you!

I very much doubt you have an STD, but I can't say more about what might be going on.  You need to see a provider.  Because your description makes it sound subtle, I suggest a dermatologist.
