Sex one week after syphilis treatment

I have recently been treated for Early Stage Syphilis (3 shots of penicillin for 3 weeks), however, exactly a week after the last penicillin dose I "hooked-up" with someone, I made it clear I did not want unprotected sex (of any kind) but I felt a mouth around my penis when immediately I restated that I wasn't having unprotected oral sex. Now I barely sleep wondering if the quick exposure to unprotected oral sex one week after penicillin would cause syphilis (being that this person may be infected) to enter my organism again, meaning, could the penicillin still be active in my body a week after and treat it?
