Single Oral Contact - STD Risks?

Hello,

I performed unprotected oral sex on a man 3 weeks ago. I have spoke to him a few times before and since but do not know him well. He stated he was tested for STD's in May and clear.  He did not ejaculate in my mouth. This was my first time performing oral sex on a man. My throat was irritated the next day with mostly a knot feeling near the breastbone. I believe anxiety got the better of me and lead me down a path that gave me a dry mouth and a moderately sore throat. Once I decided that it was anxiety, I took some Tums and drank extra water and the symptoms seemed to get better.

Now three weeks later I'm lethargic and my throat is more sore. In this situation are STD's a real concern?

Thanks. My belief is that there was inital irritation which lead to anxiety. Which keeps me focused on it. A negative feedback loop. Trying to break that now.

Your risk was low for a STD, most common would be gonorrhea, herpes and hpv. Symptoms don't really lead me to think you have a STD. But test if it helps anxiety.
