Single white dot under head of penis

I've had a white dot underneath the head of my penis for a while now (maybe years?). I never worried about it but just recently I found out that a man I had slept with a long time ago has genital herpes and lied to me about it. I wouldn't worry about the spot, but just like a month ago (right after I found out he had hsv2) my leg started getting bad pains. I also noticed that the pain only started when I began to worry about the spot on my penis. could the pains be all in my head? I'm 21 now and have had a regular sex life since I was about 17. I have been with my boyfriend for over a year now and he hasn't had any obvious dots or sores (and I know that his genitals have had direct contact with the white dot), could this dot be anything else? it hasn't been there my whole life I know that, but is it normal for herpes to hang out as a white dot for years? my test results should be coming back anytime this week, but I told the doctor everything I just explained and he didn't really have any answers for me. I worry about this constantly. I feel like i've been in my own personal hell for a month. thank you for reading and I look forward to your thoughts.

Does not sound STD related, but dots and bumps can be so many different things, it would be best to see a Dr for proper diagnosis.
