Slightly raised skin around edge of urethral meatus

Greetings Doc,

I'm male, in my mid-20s and noticed about 3 weeks ago that the skin on the left side of the urethral meatus appears very slightly raised and there is a small "lip" appearance along the edge of the meatus (same side, near the base), which seems more like a fleshy lump. I don't recall ever seeing this "lip" before, at least not so pronounced, and definitely not the area of raised skin near it, which I could best describe as "hardly scaly" in appearance (like the skin cells are more visible?). It's also more distinguishable since there's a slightly visible ridge where the raised skin begins. Sometimes it appears more visible, while other times not so much.. but definitely more-so than not. I've compared it to several pictures of Genital Warts, Balantis, and Psoriasis, but don't feel like it really matches either one.

About the same time I noticed the above changes, I also noticed a small amount of clear discharge from the penis, even when I'm not aroused. So it seems like the two symptoms/changes have a connection? I did have to gently milk it sometimes for the discharge to appear and it looks just like pre-ejaculation, but it's always been just a couple drops when I'm not aroused. When I am aroused, there seems to be a lot more pre-ejaculation fluid than usual (and not just something I'm more aware of now). I was milking more frequently earlier on after noticing the discharge randomly while inspecting the skin changes around the meatus, but have since stopped since I know milking can just cause more irritation. It seems like the discharge (when not aroused) has lessened over the last few days.

I've had protected sex with 2 girls in the last 3-4 months, the last one being about a month ago. A couple months before that, the condom slipped off during sex with a different girl (though it wasn't off for long - I checked a few times to make sure it was still on, so it had to have slipped off not long before we were done). So, I decided to get an STD screening a little over a week ago. Everything came back normal (though HPV test was not done). The tests included HIV, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Chlamydia, and H.Pylori and were done through blood and urine samples.

I've done a lot of research on HPV and all other STDs, and now I'm mostly concerned about genital warts since their appearance can vary, including being barely visible without using instrumentation. I have another appt. to have this physically checked out, but it will be with a Female doctor. So I would really appreciate a Male doc's viewpoint in the meantime.

My concerns do revolve more-so around genital warts from HPV (which I will get tested for this weekend, but surely hope that's not it), but considering that's difficult to test for in men, is there anything else that could cause these symptoms?  Any kind of irritation, mild urethritis, etc?  I did use 2 different condoms, one after another, when I last had protected sex, so I've also wondered if I could have developed some kind of infection/irritation from that. But I have no other symptoms - no pain, burning, or itching.

I would appreciate any professional advice or suggestions you have.

Thanks!

If it is irritated, swelling will make the "lip" around your meatus more distinct. Perhaps you didn't notice before, as it was not prominent, but now you are carefully examining yourself and notice, plus, due to irritation and swelling, it is more pronounced. Don't you wish you could sometimes have sex with a transparent woman and see how the soft, fleshy tip of your penis changes shape? Kind of like if you put your face in a wind tunnel, imagine the changes that 100mph winds would make to your lips. Well, when you have sex, I think (since I have never had sex with a transparent woman) the meatus must move around a little, maybe even fold over on one side, and who knows some trauma might injure it, or the movements of that soft flesh might irritate an existing trauma more, etc. Also I think semen is harsher on the genitals than urine. So sex and semen irritate an already irritated penis even more.

Lol - no edit.

I would wonder about a prostate infection more than I would genital warts, but you could have both.
