Hello,
Over a month ago, I noticed a small bump between my inner thigh and buttocks. I am a bit of a hypochondriac, so I started freaking out that it was herpes. I remember pinching it or squeezing it.. It started to bleed (very very littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys), and then I pulled the tiny bit of excess skin off. The reason I did this, is because I recently had a tiny skin tag on my armpitArmpit lump, and I thought it could be a skin tag as well.
My last pap was normal (last July), but I have had multiple sexual partners since then. Most were protected, but I know that doesn't always protect against some things. I have no other bumps or legions on my body, and no other unusual symptoms. Just this one lonesome bump, I have looked at photos of gential warts, skin tags, and molluscum contagiosum. I'd say molluscum contagiosum is the closest resemblance. However, I have touched it and other areas of my body before and no other bumps have showed up. I think there may be a dimple in the middle - it's so hard to tell. Any ideas?
A regular Dr might be able to diagnosis you or he might refer you to a dermatologist. I would not recommend a home wart remover because if it is not that then you might cause more harm.
wart, molluscum, skin tag ect.
The best thing for you to do is see a dermatologists. And it doesn't sound like herpes.
Do you think I need to see a dermatologist, or could I just see a regular doctor? Also, would it be any harm to try an at home wart remover?
