Small red blotches

by Fatty23325, Nov 05, 2004 12:00AM
Hi

I've noticed a few small red blotches on the tip of my penis, I've had unprotected sex once but the blotches were present before this. They cause no discomfort, irritation, discharge, they arn't raised and they do fade slowly. I've read through previous questions and I have found some similar but with additional effects which I am not expriencing. Could I have had anything before having sexual intercourse. Also, the intercourse was with another man and was anal but the actual penetration didn't last more than 15 seconds. Could I have caught something else from this, even if I have experienced no additional symptoms to what I already had?

Thanks a lot for your informative forum and helpful replies.

It sounds like a normal anatomic variant; a flat hemangioma (a kind of mole, filled with blood vessles--extremely common and entirely unimportant) also sounds possible.  If no pain, irritation, etc and the spots are unchanging, just disregard it.  But if in doubt or still concerned, see a dermatologist.

Thank you for your kind words about the Forum.
