Small white pimple on shaft of penis

For about 5 days I've had a little white bump that looks like a pimple (like a whitehead) on the shaft of my penis, about half way, on top of penis... I only have one and it's bothering me a bit.  It's very small, doesn't really hurt and i don't remember ever having something like it before.  Could it be a wart?  I have had sex recently but with a condom and the part of my penis where the pimple is was definitely covered during sex.

Just wondering.... when you're pulling off the condom is there any danger of getting an STD from vaginal fluids coming off the condom and onto the penis?

thanks.

He also told me I couldn't really get a wart on my shaft while wearing a condom. If I were to get a wart it would be where I didn't have any protection: pubic region...  Nice to have a clear answer on that.

I went to see an infectious diseases specialist today.  He said it wasn't a genital wart.
What a relief. I figured it wasnt.  I don't know why the other doctors were so unsure though.
I guess they're not as experienced with STDs and couldn't just rule it out and decided to play it safe and ask me to come back in a week or two.  But they made me think there was a good chance it was a wart which freaked me out and they wanted to burn it off which as I read on here can leave a scar.  I'm glad I didn't do that.

the more i read on here about HPV, the more scared i get.  This thing is SO small though, like less than a millimeter!  And it hasn't grown at all in more than two weeks but hasn't gone away either.  I just hope the specialist tomorrow will be able to tell me if it is a wart or not.  I don't want to burn something off and leave a scar if it isn't necessary.

I went to see a Dr today to get checked out.  Actually I went to another one too to get a second opinion.

Before examining me the first one asked me if I wear condoms and i said yes, is it red? no.. does it itch? no... how long have i had it? 2 weeks  He looked at it and said it's not very serious.  He said if it doesn't go away or gets worse in a week to come back and see him.  I asked him if it could go away on its own.  He kind of hesitated and didn't give me a straight answer and said he could burn it off if I want.  He said come back in a week and if it's still there he'd burn it off and he said wear a condom... I asked him is it an STD???  He said a virus might have caused it...  So i started freaking out and couldn't decide if i should have it burned off so I left.

I went to another doctor because i was really stressed out.  Similar questions, how long has it been? is it red? does it hurt? stable partner?  do i wear a condom?  men or women or both?  He looked at it and said it was too small to tell. A wart usually has a cauliflower-like texture to it and mine looked smooth but was so small that he couldn't tell. Said it could be folliculitis... He said even if i wear a condom HPV can go though it.. I didn't know that.  He said it could be in woman's pubic hair. He said if it's HPV then i got it in the last 1-2 years, my body would fight it off and get rid of the virus but if I gave it to a woman then she would have it for life.  He also said he could burn it off but said to come back in two weeks if it wasn't gone...

I thought condoms protected you against HPV! I think I read a doctor on here say that a wart usually shows up where there was the most friction or something. Well there was no friction on the top, middle part of my shaft. I had a condom on there.

So basically i don;t know what to do now.  I might go to an STD clinic tomorrow to have an STD specialist look at it.  I know it sounds like a waste of time and I'll probably hear the same thing but I would like more of a straight answer.

Any comments would be very appreciated.

It's still there.  Hasn't gotten any bigger or smaller.  Warts and herpes are not usually this small and white, are they? I guess I'll have to go get it checked out.

You do not have a risk for a STD when taking the condom off. Bumps like you have can be many things often not a STD, see a Dr if concerned.
