Something to know after treatment

I was recently treated for gonorrhea and heard from someone that i should wear a condom for at least 6 months after the treatment to avoid spreading the disease to someone else?

Is that true? is there a possibility that i still have some kind of bacteria inside my body after probably a month now that i have completed the treatment, and i should use a condom to avoid infection to another person??

Thank you

no, avoid sex for 1 week post treatment.

if you aren't aware of your partner's std status, you should be wearing condoms for both sex and oral sex to protect yourself.
