Sore in back of throat...help!!

I don't know what i have but it is completely scaring me! I have only had one sex partner and he has has two others besides me and we have never had umprotected sex. Two years ago, i remember getting a really bad sore throat and fever for about a week or more. We broke up and this past week got back together. I had protected sex with him and two days later I woke up with that sore throat! What is going on! I am so scared! I looked at the back of my throat with a flash light and saw a white bump near my tonsils and it hurts to swallow. It is only on the right side. I also have a small white bump on the right side of my tongue. We did not do any oral sex...just sex! The only thing that my mouth touched was when we kissed!! I can't go to the doctor, I'm only 18 and my parents would freak out if they knew that I had had sex. What is wrong with me? Does this sore white bump in the back of my throat have anything to do with having sex with him? Please help me!!

I agree, and I'd be far more worried about strep or tonsillitis than an std in the throat.

calm down..you are freaking yourself out.

first- if you had safe sex, which you said you did and you didnt give any oral than you are worrying about 2 things that are not related.

second- it is flu/cold season...this may just be that.

calm down, if you are truly worried go to the dr.  and you can keep this from your folks, just go to a clinic they dont share your information with family.
