Still worried - herpes or something else?

I did post a question about this last week (insect bite) and it was answered by Dr. Hook but maybe I should have been more detailed in my questioning.

For 7 days now I have had a pimple on my left buttock, red, no scab, hard below the surface, and smooth to the touch.  Does not hurt when I touch it.  Every so often, it gets itchy, like a mosquito bite (but these don’t last 7 days). The pimple feels hard below the surface when you touch it.  I think it may have shrunk a little over time.   When I first got it I swore it was an insect bite, because of the need to itch it.  No blisters and it is not painful.

I did get a massage 10 days ago, I think the girl sat on top of my buttocks for a while and massaged me. She did give me a handjob. This pimple or insect bite appeared 3 days later.  No previous experiences would account for an STD. I called a STD testing place. Sure they said, skin-to skin contact can cause herpes, her thighs or her butt may have had sores (or I suppose shedding), and you came in contact with it.  They claim they hear it all the time. One Dr. said he has seen syphilis ont the toe!

Question:

Can I get herpes this way?
Is the the first stage of herpes?
Syphilis?
What other skin ailment like this would last 7 days?
Is massage really that safe? OR like all the WEB sites, is this
skin to skin contact and therefore you can be at risk?

This is an STD forum.  We don't generally guess at diagnoses other than STD or genital infections that can be confused with STD.  And a pimple on the buttock doesn't come close to that!

No more comments or I will delete the entire thread.

You have been repeatedly told, on this forum by Dr. Hook and on the community forums, that herpes is not a possible explanation of your symptoms.  It is an abuse of the forum to ask such repetative, anxiety-driven questions.  Accept the reassurance you have been given.  See a health care provider about your symptoms; it is useless to try to get a specific diagnosis online. It isn't going to happen.

And talking to an "STD testing place" suggests it wasn't an STD expert.  The "testing places" you find on line are not trained experts, they are trained to draw blood and little more.

Yes, massage is "really that safe".

Any follow-up comments will be deleted.

Then I am asking what can it be?

I understand the forum says -- not herpes--- but what about CDC, and all the lab testing places, why are they wrong?  People have herpes all over their bodies, they must have got that from touching?:
