. I had gone to the doctor and he performed a biopsy to test for herpes and it came back negative. He suggested that if they do not go away in a couple weeks to come back and he would freeze them off. I had waited about a month and they were still there. I decided to try a home freezing kit for warts. I know it was a stupid mistake but i figured if thats what he was suggesting it wouldn't be much different. The bumps have not changed in size or color
but i was wondering what they could be? And what the consequences are for using the freeze away and if there were any other options to try? I don't want to use the freezing technique again it had caused a slight discoloration on the skin around the bumps and i don't want to have a scar. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
You got lucky if all you got was a non-effective product. I've seen guys who treat at home and get severe irritation from it. Freeze away isn't meant for genital warts, so these could still be warts.
In any case, you should be seen by your doctor. If he actually biopsied it (as in cutting away a skin sample to send to the lab), then he should know what they are. If he cultured it (as in just taking a big q-tip swab and rubbing it on the spots
