Swollen lymphs -- STDs?

Hi,
I am 29 yr old gay male and always practice safe penetration (top if that matters) but much for oral since I read in many forums that oral is not so risky.
In mid August, I had a pea sized small swollen lymph under my left jaw. I didn't know it was a lymph, and since it didn't hurt, I didn't care much. It stayed there for like a month and then second one of similar size came up close to it in mid Sept.
Slowly they  started going down, but then a third one popped up above them. until then I was thinking its just acne since I have rosacea.

I casually met a friend's friend who is is primary care doc and showed her these. She told me they are lymph nodes and prescribed me Amoxicillin 875mg twice a day for 5 days.
Before I started taking antibiotics, a similar node swelled under right jaw this time. Hence, without delay I started the antibiotics Fri night and today's mouthing dose was the last one.

All the nodes are going down ever since. However, the second one which came up in mid Sept had swelled again today. Until last night it was almost down to nothing.
I don't have any other symptoms or swollen lymphs elsewhere but mild cold which I attribute to changing weather.

I am just worried if this is any way a sign of some STD or something else? The doc who prescribed me antibiotics does not know my sexuality.

Experts please help me on this. I m getting very nervous.

Thanks
Gary.

no real reason to think this is std related. you should however see your regular provider and get a proper exam and some basic blood work done to try to figure out what is going on.
