Symptomatic of which Std? Worried

by Sailor100670, Feb 22, 2009 04:03AM
HIV or possibly which other STD?
Hi my question concerns what I may be symptomatic for...Or could all this be stress....
Please send to appropriate forums.
Hiv may be one, but Ive had differing opinions....some say no and others say my skin conditions spots and marks are variable. Can it be anything else...
Please advise if my symptoms could be any other STD...
Or if this has been known to HIV.
Here goes

I put myself in a high risk situation with a Thai prostitute in and the condom broke. I stopped immediately when she told me....Ive been worried sick about HIV. She said she was ok, but was very blaazay
I foolishly had sex with my partner within 1 days. This was 3 weeks ago....I have abstained since
What is my partners likelihood of contraction if I had contracted 1 days earlier?
After 6 days we both had some gastro issues...Light loose stools (not Diareah), guts rumbling, much burping.
This passed after another 10 days.
My partner had a bloated stomach and sore spleen...(I read this could be a symptom of HIV)
From about 10 days I noticed I got a few more dark coloured marks resembling moles. Its seems more than usual and some darker.
I have a mark to the right of my eye resembling a small rash.
Today (day 22) it is more red in colour seems about half size of a quarter coin, and still there.
My partner so far has no rashes new moles, or marks spots like me.
I also got a large ulcer in my mouth afew days ago (around day 18), which my partner also has.
It seems to be going now....but Ive had a lingering argh cough and my throat is ever so slightly sore when I swallow.
My partner so far she has no rashes new moles, or marks spots like me.
Some small pimple (but not) spots have also appeared. 3 Red dots on my shoulder...theyve been there nearly 2 weeks. Not a pimple and not a boil.  similar
Its hard to tell if my glands have been up...Im worried sick...
In my research on the internet some say this is possible HIV symptoms. Some say not.
Is it more distinct or could it be Hiv...
Could this be another STD?
So far I did not get any large rashes itching, or pain when I pee, or large spots on my penis
(though it seems as if I have 1 or 2 very tiny moles on my penis (hard to be sure), or any bad flu after exposure.
Could it be other STD even though no spots or discharge on my penis?
I will get tested for all stds,
Could my mark near my eye for 2 weeks and small pimple things on shoulder be stress?
Ive been worried sick. Any words appreciated even though I know I must get tested in a week 28 days...and again later.
If this is indeed HIV then would my test next week show?

Your HIV concerns have been discussed at length in the HIV prevention forum, so I don't see any reason to address them here.  At 28 days, there's about a 90% chance that your test will be accurate.

As for your other symptoms, I am bewildered that you haven't seen a doctor yet.  Honestly and totally bewildered.  I am not trying to be mean, but you have been posting about them for a couple of weeks now, and you haven't been to the doctor.

The large ulcer sounds like it might be syphilis, but did you give her oral sex?  Have a lot of deep kissing?  (Its rare to pass it that way, but possible.)

The rest of it sounds like you all might have shared a stomach flu, and I don't know what to make of the eye marks, etc.  If your partner has spleen pain and a bloated stomach, she needs to see a doctor today.  This doesn't sound at all like HIV, but its not something to be ignored either.

I don't know why you are waiting till next week to see a doctor.  I can see why you would wait for HIV testing, but as you already know, the chances of you having HIV are next to nothing, yet you are focusing on that.  Forget that and focus on the other symptoms and see your doctor.

I don't mean to sound harsh, but your focus is in the wrong place, and you and your partner both need prompt medical attention.
