Syphilis Testing Question

I went to my local clinic to get tested for Syphilis and the test they offered was called the Treponema Pallidum Screening Cascade. I took the test today and they said my results will be back in 24-48 hours.

1. Is this a good test?

2. If my test is negative, when is it considered conclusive?

3. Is this test better at detecting recent or latent infections?

4. Should I do a different test?

I've seen 6 weeks post exposure as "conclusive" on this forum but that seems to reference an "RPR" Syphilis test. Can anyone answer the questions I asked above...

If you tested 5-6 weeks post exposure it should be conclusive.
