Syphilis

by angie726, May 04, 2009 05:45PM
I recently got my test results for syphilis and I'm confused as to the answers that I have been given by different doctors. I tested negative for the TPPA and RPR, but I tested re-active on the IgG test. My general doctor tells me that it is a false alarm since both the TPPA and RPR were negative. But, another doctor told me to get cured because there is a possibilty that I do have syphilis. Is it possible to test negative for the TPPA and RPR, but still be positive because my IgG test came out re-active?

do a retest, then go from there.

It's probably a false positive
