TPHA positive

Hi, TPHA Positive (+) at titre 1/640.  I had started the antiboitics cource for 14 days . after this in how many days the TPHA will be negative

thankfully syphilis still responds well to conventional treatments.  usually we don't even repeat the tests after treatment to see if the infection was cured or not. When providers do, if the rpr and tpha are still positive, they look at the ratio to make sure it's lowered. As jessy already said , some folks will test + for weeks , months if not a lifetime even.

always best to ask any potential partners to test for std's prior to being sexual with them. If they don't or it's just a one night stand sort of thing, make sure a condom is used properly - the condom goes on when the clothing comes off, not just waiting until actual penetration to put it on.   It'll protect you from having to go through all of this again :)

That's a hard question to answer.  You'll probably test positive for a while.   Consult your physician as you need to do down in titers.
