Tetracycline vs. chlamydia and gonorrhea

I am taking tetracycline X2 daily for acne. But I am curious to know if it also cures STDs after a discussion with a best friend. Does tetracycline cure chlamydia and gonorrhea also?

Tetrcycline can be used to treat Chlamydia. It is not recommended for Gonorrhea as there is a very high rate of resistence to this world wide. I would never suggest that you self treat. If you have infection questions, please go to your nearest clinic or Doctor for testing. Take care.
