Time to wait for testing for NGU/Gon

Hi,

Received unprotected oral from a CSW Sunday. No symptoms to mention. From reading the Dr.'s forum, it sounds like NGU & gonorrhea are the only things I would test for (and not likely at that). My question is how long should I wait for a definitive test?

you can get tested for gonorrhea and ngu anytime after 1 week encounter. We don't recommend any testing from oral sex unless you develop obvious symptoms.

hsv1 doesn't protect you from hsv2.

also, already have HSV-1 in the mouth, so HSV-2 is not a concern
