Tingling Lips

I had unprotected sex a little over a month ago. Within about a week afterwards I noticed tingling/numbness in certain spots on my lips. My bottom lip was even a bit swollen at one point. I suspected it was some type of herpes infection but no blisters ever appeared. Weeks past and most of the tingling went away, only very minor in certain spots every once in a while. But as of yesterday the intense tingling/numbness is back, my lips feel like they're pulsating at times but still no blisters. I do notice very small, un-raised whitish/flesh colored patches of spots on my upper lip though. From my research on these bumps, it looks like they can be Fordyce spots but it seems too coincidental to me that I'm only noticing them now. There are bumps like this around my vagina too, except these are slightly raised and some are whitish in color and are no bigger than the head of a pen. However these also match the characteristics of normal Fordyce spots that I may have never noticed until now that I thuroughly examine myself everyday. My vagina has been itching but not an intense burning itch like a yeast infection. More of an uncomfortable kind of itch like i can scratch it and it will go away. My biggest concern is my lips tingling and the spots. The tingling sometimes occurs on other parts of my face like my chin, around my mouth, and nose too. If anyone has any info on what can be happening to me or if I am just being paranoid I would greatly appreciate it because this is consuming my life. Thank You.

Thank you for that information Grace. I am planning to get tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea this upcoming week and I guess I just have to wait to get tested for the others. What about HPV though? Does that sound like a possibility / when and how can I be tested for that?

have you been seen yet and had any testing done?

since you had unprotected sex, you can get tested for chlamydia, gonorrhea and trich any time after 1 week post encounter. syphilis after 6 weeks. herpes, hiv and hepatitis after 3 months. meanwhile be seen, get a proper exam and get tested for yeast for bacterial infections vaginally too.
