Transmission of HPV

by Carly3803, Jun 25, 2007 12:00AM
I was told about a year ago that I was infected with HPV. I have been doing a lot of research, but keep coming up with conflicting information.

I know that HPV can be transmitted by genital contact, but if a partner touches "down there" with his hand and then touches himself, can the virus be transferred to his penis?

Can you please tell me ALL the ways this virus can be transmitted??

Do you have obvious genital warts or did you have a + hpv test or an abnormal pap test?

Yes you can transmit hpv thru hands but it's most commonly transmitted thru direct skin on skin contact.
